Orthodontics
Our protocols for orthodontic treatment are vital at improving form and function. Therefore, we combine assessments and therapy by looking at improving function and stability of the muscles of swallow, speech, breathing and joint support.
Our therapy is primary, based on good function with a stable jaw joint. Once our dentists have achieved skeletal jaw position balance, we will start to move teeth orthodontically.

Studies done at The O Clinics have helped us to understand the impact of each tooth and a stable jaw position can have on various postural and dynamic muscular skeletal functions. Therefore, each tooth and its position are very critical in helping us to achieve not just an aligned tooth but also aligned jaws and improve muscular skeletal function.

Because of these studies we have developed a specific protocol of treatment unique to each patient taking consideration of full body posture and health
Our Approach
As we believe intervention is key and our care is based on comprehensive screening tools and diagnostic techniques. By taking an interdisciplinary approach, we can ensure the best path of care for you and your child, and our case studies and testimonials confirm this
Our system
For many years we have had great results for the Damon system, giving our patients the options (when advisable) of clear and metal fixed brackets.

The advantages of using the Damon system:
-
Appearance: Their clear brackets make them more aesthetically pleasing because they are virtually invisible, making them much less noticeable than traditional braces.
-
Faster Treatment: Patients with Damon braces finish over seven months before those with conventional braces.
-
Fewer Office Visits: With faster treatment comes fewer visits to your orthodontist to have them adjusted.
-
Less Pressure and Pain: Since they gradually move your teeth, there's less pressure resulting in less pain.
-
Less Friction: Less friction means less erosion of your teeth.
-
Less Plaque and Bacteria Build-up: Damon braces consist of fewer materials in your mouth, and thus, fewer places for plaque and bacteria to set up camp.
