Dental Implants
Dental implant surgery offers an alternative to bridgework or dentures where these do not fit well, or where the current mouth structure is not sufficient to support dentures or bridgework.

With dental implants, our dentists replaces teeth roots with metal, screw type posts with artificial teeth that perform and look much like natural teeth. Other than dentures and fixed bridgework, the implants won't move around, make noise or cause damage to bones.
As the titanium in the implant is required to fuse tightly with your jaw bone, this process often takes a number of months to complete.

In general, dental implants may be right for you if you:
-
Have one or more missing teeth
-
Have a jaw bone that's reached full growth
-
Have adequate bone to secure the implants or are able to have a bone graft
-
Have healthy oral tissues
-
Don't have health conditions that will affect bone healing
-
Are unable or unwilling to wear dentures
-
Want to improve your speech
-
Are willing to commit several months to the process
-
Don't smoke tobacco
